Dog Story

WoW! When I opened my mail today, there are exactly 38new mails waiting for me. And out of the 38mails, I decided to read 4 of them. Among the 4 mails, there is one that I want to share to all my readers.

----Beginning of Story----
Dog Story
Who said only human know what is love

Yes, animals are more deluded because of their capacity of their physical body, but occasionally some of them might be able show us the love that we have forgotten on our 'busy road'. Just like this story. This is real touching!
Hey, wake up! wake up!

A dog was knocked down by a car and died on the middle of the road. Later, another dog is seen beside the corpse of the dog, he tried to wake his friend up using his leg.

Let's move to the safer side of the road...i will move you to the safer side!

When his attempts to wake his friend failed, he tried to push his friend to the side of the road. But the weight of his friend was proven too heavy for him.

Anyone help, tell me what to do.

Though the traffic is busy and dangerous, he just will not go away from his friend. Just stand beside his friend howling and crying.

A lot of people saw this incident and feel very touched. How even a dog can show his loyalty and love to his friend.

----End of Story----

I have a habit of believing everything in the net is a hoax until proven true. This time, I don't really care if this is a true story or an internet hoax cause it did made me think about 'LOVE'. Dang, why can't this mail come after I've completed my thesis report. Now I'm gonna spend the whole night thinking about this and that.

Thesis Madness

For those who wants to know a lil bit about me.
I'm a final year engineering student studying in Australia. 8 more days, and I have to submit my thesis report. I'm aiming to write a 110page of bullcrap, shits and nonsense! To date, I only manage to write about 30pages. That 30pages took me 3weeks time to write.

8 days more to go and I have 80more pages to go! WoW!
If I can survive this, I pay a visit to the temple, to the church and if possible to a mosque! I'll promise not to start smoking, gambling, drinking, and playboying around. Heck, If i can freaking survive this, I'm willing to go as far as joining King of Sepam and Queen of spams and their kingdom of sperms in their ultimate quest to annoy everyone else!

You know what?
If my thesis report has a soul, I'll curse it to death!

In this tag, I'm suppose to showcase my phone, the ultimate 6680! Its special because its a Nokia 6680! What makes it more special is that Kok Fye owns it!

Let me introduce my friend here, KokFye's 6680. This phone has been my best buddy ever since I came to australia. It has been with me everyday since. When I'm down, the call function is my favourite button. And when I'm frustrated and angry, the reject button is my favorite button. When I'm in a dark situation, the power button is my favorite. When my fingers are itchy, I can count on my numeric keypad to soothe my misery. When I feel like dying, I'll just put the phone next to my brain while I dose off to dream about my favorite Princess. And when I'm feeling horny, the camera lens is ermm....my best friend?? (Which reminds me, I should really clean my camera lens now)

So, then my good friends, won't you tell me more about your phones?

Being Remembered

In Yvonne's recent post of 'Silence in church', KokFye wrote: 'Being remembered. Is that really important?'
And he got a reply in her next post, 'A heart full of love to be remembered'

Reading her reply, KokFye felt as if he just asked a stupid question. (He thought that he may have offended her and as a result, that poor chap is feeling all guilty) So, to redeem his stupid mistake, KokFye stayed up the whole night thinking of the same question that I asked Yvonne.

Being remembered. Is it really that important?
Yvonne says that its important to her. Well, that is understandable because if you are a normal sane person, you would think the same as her. Its only surprising if someone said 'No. It doesn't matter to me cause I'm am one sad lonely kid anyway'

Yvonne also mentioned that 'remembrance of someone is a sign of LOVE'. When I first read it, I thought 'This is so true'. Why hadn't I realize this before? Oh well, guess I should go and dream more about Princess Eileen. =D

But seriously, if being remembered is that important, how come we have disorder such as Prosopagnosia (face blindness), and problems with remembering names. We humans have been around for more than 2000years and if it is really that important, shouldn't our brains evolve to a stage where we can remember a person for life?

You know, there are times when I bump into an old friend, I can't help it but take out my phone, scroll through my contact list just to recall that fella's name. I don't blame it on bad memory. I blame my attitude for not knowing how to be a true friend.

Question Time:
Is being remembered that important to you?
And how much effort would you put in remembering your people whom you've encountered?

Astral Projection

Ever had a sleep dream so real that you would immediately fall back to sleep to experience it for one more time?

Lately, I've been having strange dreams. I know myself that I've always had weird dreams, but recently, its getting more and more freaky! Usually when I dream, I'm just a spectator of my own dream. I only get to watch it from afar...

Lately, I get to participate in my own dream. Exactly a week ago, I dreamt of holding someone in my arms... It felt very real. The weight of the person, the body warmth, the sensation on my fingertips. Heck, I could even feel the pace of her breath. In that particular dream, I was thinking about her welfare. I was like: "What should I do? Should I go out and find help?"
In my other dreams, I do not get to think! I only get to watch, very much like sitting in the cinema. But in that particular dream, I get to think! I even had thoughts on what should be the next best action to take given the situation...

It feels as if I'm projecting to the astral plane, an alternate world where physical bodies doesn't exist. When I woke up from that dream, my mind was literally blown away by the experience! And you know what? I went back to sleep hoping to experience it another time!
*MMmmmm......Leng luis...*

Have you ever had a dream that shocked you out?

1st Malaysian blast off to space

I heard that Dr Sheikh Muszaphar is now in space drinking teh tarik and eating roti canai with his new bunch of hang-out space-buddies. I'm wondering if Dr Sheikh Muszaphar is gonna celebrate Hari Raya Celebration in space. Like giving out green packets of duit raya to his space buddies, float around the space shuttle eating ketupat and rendang and play fire-crackers in the space shuttle. While Malaysians are trying to source for fireworks that flies above the sky, this guy is actually in a space shuttle on a journey to the unknown! That is so cool!!! [By the way, Dr Sheikh Muszaphar is the 1st Malaysian to venture to space on 10th October 2007]

This must be the nest best achievement since the creation of ipod.
Speaking of IPOD.... I got this from somewhere in the net.
"Selepas mengumumkan rakyat Malaysia pertama menembusi angkasa lepas, Perdana Menteri kita telah dihadiahkan sebuah Apple IPOD..."
[Translation] After announcing the first malaysian to venture out to space, our Prime Minister was given an IPOD!

WoW!!! Free Ipod! Makes me want to be a Prime Minister too!
*While performing Jedi mind Trick hand movement* You will vote for 3POINT8! You will give 3POINT8 an IPOD and you will send him to space!

Idiots!

Caller: "Hello, is this Tech Support?"
Tech: "Yes, it is. How may I help you?"
Caller: "The cup holder on my PC is broken and I am within my warranty period. How do I go about getting that fixed?"
Tech: "I'm sorry, but did you say a cup holder?"
Caller: "Yes, it's attached to the front of my computer."
Tech: "Please excuse me if I seem a bit stumped, It's because I am. Did you receive this as part of a promotional, at a trade show? How did you get this cup holder? Does it have any trademark on it?"
Caller: "It came with my computer, I don't know anything about a promotional. It just has '4X' on it."
(Btw, this is a true story from a Novell NetWire SysOp)

Sometimes we get into a situation where we curse in mind "Gawd, be a lil smarter, can't u?"
The world is surrounded by idiots and if thats not bad enough, there are books designed to teach people on how to be an idiot! It's called the complete idiot guide. I think the world is a conspiracy by itself! I mean, if you make something idiot-proof, the world will create a better idiot. You will never win. You know why, cause there are always idiots around to spoil everything. The world is too freaking smart! In fact, I think there is some great entity out there who makes idiots all day long to just to frustrate us.

But fear not as there is still some hope! Not everyone is an idiot. So, how do you identify an idiot? I have this general rule that "Idiots are everyone except you!"

Question: "What is the most idiotic experience that you ever had?"

A question on 3.8 [Updated]

Princess Eileen asked:
"I got a new brainstorming question for you 3.8 means kepo right? Haha, suddenly got inspired :P"

3.8 = kepo?
well well, lets start of by explaining the Theory of Association. People tend to associate a certain something with something else. For example, most may associated 38=sanpat=kepo=busybody. See how it relates?

Alrite. Lets use another example.
The alphabet 'A' may not mean a lot. But if you add a 's' at the back, 'A' becomes 'As'. [A -> As]
And I know how some of you all like to pronounce the word 'As' as 'Ass' [As -> Ass]
So, By adding a 's' at the back of 'A', you would probably think of Ass. [A+s = Ass]
I always find it amusing at how people find 'Ass' funny and hilarious. [Ass = Fun]

Lets move the the extreme right of the equation.
Assassin. The word Assassin has the alphabet 'A' as a foundation. Which means that you add 'ssassin' to 'A' in order to make up for the word 'Assassin' [ssassin + A = Assassin]
People may feel fear and tremble when they hear the word assassin. Thats understandable since a professional assassin kill people as their full time job. Their hobby may include feeding cute little bunnies with home made body parts. [Assassin -> fear]
Get me so far?

This may not be the case for a highly perceptive person. Thats cause the word Assassin is the combination of 'ass' 'ass' 'in'. [Assassin = Ass+Ass+In]
Ass Ass In. [Double Ass = Double Fun!] which makes [Ass ass in = Double Fun in ???]
(let your imagination run wild!) These special group of people might find assassin as a very funny word indeed.

My point is, by adding something in something, you can turn it into something totally different. 38 is pronounced as 'san-pat' in Chinese and by a slight distortion in pronunciation, it means 'kepo' which also means 'busybody'. [38 -> sanpat -> kepo = busybody]

But what princess eileen asked for is 3.8 [Notice the decimal point in between the 3 and 8?] 38 may mean kepo, but 3.8 may not mean kepo. In Chinese 'point' is pronounced as 'dim'. [3.8 = 3point8 = 3dim8] And when some people think of dim, they may think of dim sum! [3.8 = 38kia eating dim sum?] No, thats not the case.

3.8 is the abbreviation of 3point8. So, if someone asked about 3.8, he/she is actually asking for 3point8. If you google the word '3point8', it'll generate lots of links. Lets look at the most dominating link, the 1st link. The 1st link shall define the meaning of '3point8'. If you click on the 1st link, it'll bring you to this blog [http://4-4-4-4.blogspot.com]

To conclude, [3.8 = 3point8 = http://4-4-4-4.blogspot.com]
In fact, http://3point8.blogspot.com would do the same too!
[Actually, the true meaning behind 3point8 is mentioned in this post: 3point8 4444 v2]

There you go....Theory of Association.
What is the most bizarre 'association' that you have came across with?
[My friend has this bizarre association of 'RotiBom=BreadofDeath']

Forer Effect

Let's just say I'm here to do a free analysis of your personality.
I look at your picture or your blog for a while and I say:
1) You have a need for other people to like and admire you, and yet you tend to be critical of yourself.
2) While you have some personality weaknesses you are generally able to compensate for them.
#) You have considerable unused capacity that you have not turned to your advantage.
4) Disciplined and self-controlled on the outside, you tend to be worrisome and insecure on the inside.
5) At times you have serious doubts as to whether you have made the right decision or done the right thing.
6) You prefer a certain amount of change and variety and become dissatisfied when hemmed in by restrictions and limitations.
7) You also pride yourself as an independent thinker; and do not accept others' statements without satisfactory proof. But you have found it unwise to be too frank in revealing yourself to others.
*) At times you are extroverted, affable, and sociable, while at other times you are introverted, wary, and reserved.
9) Some of your aspirations tend to be rather unrealistic.

On a scale of [100~0] percent, how accurate would you rate my evaluation??

Port Stephan Trip

I went on a one day trip with a bunch of friends to Port Stephan, Sydney back in July.
[I'm having a writter's block, so the best I can do is to post up some photos]

This trip is a bit unique in a sense that I'm the only Malaysian with the whole bunch of Indonesians.

In front of a famous vineyard in Port Stephan.

On the peak of a mountain.

Sitting in a line at some pier.

Best part of the trip, we went for Dune Buggy!

Me posing on the vast land filled with nothingness, a desert.
