He is smarter than her

Every time I enter the female toilet, I feel powerfully brilliant. The imagination going on in my mind is so great that I almost feel as if I'm the smartest being on earth. And best of all, pleasure comes with it.

Have you heard?
Men and women perceive men as a smarter being.

If you place a Aaron in a room of females, I'm very certain Aaron will be perceived as the smartest person in the room. Sneak William in the group and you can bet that Aaron's smartness will be challenged. As a result either Aaron can be perceived as the smartness, or William could be perceived as the smartest. All females are automatically disqualified because they are females. I could elaborate more, but for the sake of my safety, I better stop here.

So enough of females and back to males, only one can be perceived as the smartest. There can only be one smartest, so its either Aaron or William. If both of them were there to feel 'smart', that kind of scenario would be bad for both of them.

I'm speculating that males love to be in the company of females because it makes them feel smart, it makes them feel superior. Probably that explains why there are more male sneaking into female's toilets rather than female sneaking into a male's restroom.

According to the above article,
Women across the world tend to underplay their intelligence, while men overstate it. Men aren't more clever or smarter. But since they think they are, they are more confident about their abilities. And having that extra confidence goes a long way.
[I'd say its a propaganda. Men are still smarter. Muahahax3]
[A friend told me: It doesn't matter. With current technology, we can always change our sex]

Winner of Lottery Scam Mail

My primary email had been a tragic victim of spam mails ever since activation. Every year, the frequency of such spam mails keep increasing. Its so bad that I receive an average of 80 spam mails per day. I'm pretty sure its a huge number and I sure ain't gonna go through any of them.

Usually these spam mails are automatically sent to my spam mailbox. However some of the infamous lottery scams managed to land on my main mailbox.
One example of such mail:
LG WINNING NOTIFICATION

Congratulations once more from our members of staff and thank you for being part of our promotional program.

Note: Anybody under the age of 18 is automatically disqualified.

Ms. Il Steel,
Online coordinator.
I knew instantly that it is a scam, but there is always this thought of "What if it isn't?". I wasn't just gonna let this opportunity pass away, should I? It was pretty tempting to want to claim my winning. I love money, especially those with lots of zeros at the end.

*Dude, Snap out of it*. Its clearly a lottery scam. The following reasons are the ones I used to convince myself that its a scam:
1) I don't remember joining any lottery program
2) If I were to win one-million dollars, shouldn't they at least give me the respect I deserve by addressing me with my REAL name? [eg: dear mr.Leng Chai,]
3) The email address that they used [lglotterypromo111@yahoo.com.sg] is a free mail service. Kinda weird if you ask me since the seemingly big LG group doesn't have their own domain mail.

Suspicion will always be a suspicion, just a hunch. I had to confirm it. So I simply Google the 2 names included in the mail. Surely enough, there were search results confirming that its a scam.

Oh, I read the lottery scam mail again and it says that I'm suppose to keep my winning information confidential. So, lets keep this information between you and me. Don't go around leaking info about my winning ya!

[From microsoft.com] Spotting a fraud: 7 signs of a scam:
1. You don't know the person who has sent you the message.
2. You are promised untold sums of money for little or no effort on your part.
3. You are asked to provide money up front for questionable activities, a processing fee, or to pay the cost of expediting the process.
4. You are asked to provide your bank account number or other personal financial information, even if the sender offers to deposit money into it.
5. The request contains a sense of urgency.
6. The sender repeatedly requests confidentiality.
7. The sender offers to send you photocopies of government certificates, banking information, or other "evidence" that their activity is legitimate (these are fake).

The other extreme side

Related stuff: Blogging style inspired by one annoying kid on the KTM who just wouldn't stop asking questions.

"There is a good principle, which has created order, light and man; and a bad principle, which has created chaos, darkness and woman." Pythagoras

Virtually everything has an opposite. Even Newton proved that in his 3rd law of motion.
yin vs yang
head vs tail
evil vs good
3 vs 8 [ok, I made that up]

I firmly believe that there is an extreme side to everything.
If u think that you are a good person in nature, chances are that you'll more likely to perform acts of kindness. However if u regard yourself as a great arrogant person, chances are that you are more likely to promote a personal trait that u are good in.

Question is...have u been to other side? If u have, how deep have u gone?
Lets just say u r the quiet introvert person whose favorite word is either a 'yes' or a 'no'. Would you attend a huge social gathering whom u clearly know that none of friends are going. I mean, you have experienced the life a lone-wolf, one who doesn't initiate conversation, why not try to experience the other extreme side for a change? at least once...
You live your whole life in the world of 'yang', aren't you curious of the world of 'yin'?

If you've been to both extreme sides, you'll might just be lucky to know a little more about yourself, your preference, and your personality.

So, if you are a person who doesn't do sports, why not try rapid-river kayaking for a change?
If u are a person who loves to humiliate other people, why not say good things for a change?
If u are a male, why not try on a bra for a change? [Holy cap, I just discovered the origin of she-male]
(To mom: mom, don't worry, I'm not gonna try yours)

I mean, there are lots of things to experience in this world and some people just wouldn't try it out because they thought that it wouldn't fit with their personality. Don't you think so?

I admit I'm quite an introvert and I tend to avoid social gathering. For some reason, I just prefer not to talk. All this while I thought that I hated the attention. But no, I was so wrong. As an introvert, I enjoyed public speaking. I love talking on a stage, its just that I prefer not to have a face to face talk because I know we'll always end up in that awkward silence.

Hey, who knows?
I mean, if you are physically weak, you might turn out to take a liking on Karate.
If you are relatively stupid person, you might enjoy reading science journal
If you love to be surrounded by fake people, you might enjoy spending a day alone in the forest
Give the other side a chance, will ya?

Have you tried saying 'have a happy day' to a total stranger?
Have you ever sent a flower to a random house?
Have you ever tried talking into someone to visit this owning blog?
We should all try different things for a change, shouldn't we?

[Photo] Youth 08 Traffic Jam

Unrelated stuff: Got back my laptop on Thaipusam day! Ain't you jealous Benard? Muahahax3
Related Stuff: In this post, I stole Chingy's photo-editting style.

Late is better than never. Here you go, photos from the recent Youth + Nuffnang Traffic Jam. In this post, I'm gonna compose a pose containing more than 13000 words.

Every event require the presence of well-known celebrity. If one celebrity is good enough, more is even better.

I wasn't able to snap a photo with any of the celebrity blogger. As they were swarmed by other people, I took this opportunity to snap a photo with Point Blanc from Poetic Ammo and Excaliber from Voyeur Records.

There were some cool event happening in Youth 08 Traffic Jam.

Nuffnang founder, Timothy stressed saying that Traffic Jam is an event to bring bloggers together. The goal is to create a blogging community where people can make new friends and interact with one another.
If thats the main goal, then they've achieved it! I'm the living proof who managed to meet a few bloggers and had a friendly chat with them. Photos below:

For those wondering: "what happened to all the other pwetty girls?"
Well, I'm a shy boy, especially when the crowd is huge. Thats why I blog.

Bad Timing

Remember the famous rap music 'Stan' by Eminem a few years ago?
The song about a famous singer who could have saved a frantic fan's life if he could have reply the fan mail earlier before the frantic fan committed suicide?

Nothing much can be blamed other than bad timing.
That is what I'm experiencing now. Bad timing.

I feel obliged to blog about the recent Youth 08 Traffic Jam event happened a few days ago. And I foresee that I'm suppose to add in a few pictures just to prove how happening I am to be mixing around with celebrities, rising celebrities and potential celebrities.

Sadly, my pride is being heldback as my computer is still with the service company since last week. I'm sitting in the cyber cafe with all the DOTA and CounterStrike Sound effect as i blog.
As a result, I can't transfer those seemingly 'happening' picture to my super owning com, and I do not have the luxury of blogging with my professional looking black-themed keyboard along with my infamous mouse.

I'll just make this a quickie:
-> I saw the 4 featured celebrity blogger. [KennySia, NicoleTan, RingoTan and PinkPau]
-> I managed to have a chat with:
funny guy royalshortness,
the humble blogger curryegg,
cancer-survivor yuinyin,
007 sc_bone,
lollipop EriPeng,
PSP winner joshuatly,
nuffnang insider Jenkinyat
photobloggers like Mich, Smashpop, HungWei, KimFei, Chingy, Hiew88, AhKwong, Fattien
entertainment people like Point Blanc, and Excaliber.

[Since their image and their blog can project so much fame that could potentially rival choi shen yeah's, I'll just leech some of their fame aura and claim it as mine. *Evil grin*]

Bound by Superstition

I had a sense of satisfaction when I saw my post in innit’s top5 post today.
I felt obliged to construct a post so good, so magnificent and thought provoking that it would blew the mind of blog readers in PTWC today.

I drafted a few posts which I thought would be interesting. I drafted one about ‘sarcasm’, one on ‘being the best’, and 38 other posts related to exaggeration.
I wanted people to visit my PC, spend a few minutes there, then walk away with the feeling that they’ve just read the best freaking article that could potentially be used to convince Eskimos to drop their religion and start worshipping a new god, this post!

I was trying to please the crowd, I was trying to be the best. I wanted recognition and I wanted fame. I wanted it so badly that I considered ‘copy and paste’ a freaking good article I read written by a bedroom blogger. I thought of going to the extra mile by modifying a few words here and there.

But plagarism is the worst offence any blogger can make. Instead, I thought of writting something original then go the extra mile by googling lots of jokes, fast facts and compile everything into the ultimate post in 3POINT8.

Just as soon as I wrote the ULTIMATE POST, I happen to stumble upon this quote: 'The Extra Mile will have no traffic jams.'

Sounds controversial if you ask me since my blog is being featured in 'Traffic Jam' for the weekend.

Christians believed that there are no coincidences, Chinese believed in fate, Indians believed in vasthu sastra and some believed in astrology, numerology and all sort of ‘-ology’ [note that this does not apply to everyone]

Coincidently reading the quote is no coincidence at all. It must be a sign from the gods.

Therefore ‘Going for the extra mile’ is not recommended. To play safe, I should back up one mile instead and wipe out my ULTIMATE POST from this cruel world.

Btw,
To those who is reading this post in PWTC: Having Voting~~~
To those at home: Thanks for reading! To have read this far, you are indeed a loyal reader! Muncho gracias. Xie Xie.

Traffic Jam

This post is inspired by Curryegg.

Imagine this:
Kiffy was driving along a 5-lane highway with cars jammed pack in the north south east west direction of his car. Kiffy knew that he use this highway everyday and he knew that its suppose to be a 3-lane highway. Thats when kiffy start to doubt whether the Panadol he had earlier this morning hallucinated him.

Kiffy felt the tension in his arms, his legs, and his tired eyes. He knew it was reality. In fact, he is 100% sure that he is living in the present since his carpool friends saw exactly the things Kiffy is looking at. He knew he was driving behind the steering wheel, he knew he had to be at PWTC, Hall4 at 5pm. And he knew that he is doing just that. No freaking way that its a dream to Kiffy.

But he had this strange feeling that he is still in a dream, one that is so illusive that he can't tell the difference between reality and dream. In the land of protons, he was certain that he passed by one Porsche 911 turbo, 3 dodge vipers, and 8 lotus elise. And right in front of his eyes, was a Tesla Roadster and one Audi R8.

Kiffy took out his iTalk card and start a phone conference with people that he knew. There is absolutely no way those cars can be seen in Malaysia, especially not in federal highway, the busiest street at 3.48pm. No freaking way....not in a million years.

More shocking, he thought he saw a few familiar faces along the way, people like mr.Sia, ms.Tan and a funny ad about a pink pau.

Kiffy thought: 'If its a traffic jam, its one that I want to be in it for a long long time'
Have you ever been in a dream so real that you wanted to tell everyone about it only to find out that you find it difficult to express your experience to others?

Kiffy had been experiencing that all the time! All the time....
Since this guy is an extreme introvert, its not easy to express what he sees, and what he experiences to most people, not even to his best buddy. It was the same every time Kiffy tries to share his tall tale.... no one will ever understand a word he says.
However, this time is slightly different as he can show you this wonderful feeling as described in this post. You don't even have to meet him to do that. All you need to do is to attend this event -> Traffic Jam at Youth 08.

[P/S: I have a feeling that I may be too late to sign up for the exclusive 100-featured blogger event. One thing I learned from xniquet, as long as it doesn't bear a wedding ring, its never too late. So Kiffy is hoping that he'll get Maserati GranTurismo]

Ego

Unrelated Stuff: Sent my laptop for service today. Sigh, sad days... I won't be able to surf the net for the next couple of days, unless someone threatens me to play DOTA.

Ego...an opinion of yourself, a feeling of your own importance.
Everyone has that sense of self-importance. The feeling that I AM the superior being, I AM the most important of all, I AM the greatest of all. The center of attention is always ME and ME and ME!!!

Someone says: "Hey, I have friends. Just look at the connections I have in my phonebook!"
An egoistic person tops up with: "Thats nothing! I have a million friends on my friendster account, another million friends on my Tag account, another million friends on Myspace, and another million on Facebook! Ha! Beat that!!!"
And the most egoistic person would probably say: "What?? That's it?? HA! you know what?? I have so many friends that I even know who 3POINT8 is!! See, look, I visit to his blog!! Now this is the solid prove that I'm sociable.. I do not need fake made-up friends on social network"

There you go. Do you see how a person's ego spice up their life??

Anyone have the right to have massive amount of ego regardless of profession. Hey, even dishwasher can claim that: "Dude, you know what? I've seen the Prime Minister in the restaurant before. But that's nothing!! The best stuff I've ever done in my life is washing plates for the great 3POINT8!!"
Yea...something like that...

But I guess the worst profession to show off your ego is the job as an assassin. Isn't it tempting to show how much you are able to perform in a bar fight, to impress a charming lady with your big herculean muscles? Well, The cops will be around looking for him if he succumb to his ego.

Yup, 3POINT8 is still the greatest blogger ever lived!
Don't you just love talking to an egoistic bastard?

Flattery Helps

Flattery, an act of giving excessive compliments. It works surprisingly well against all types of females, especially if they are the feminine kind.
In many ways, flattery works like a heat-seeking missile, only what the missile homes in on is our vanity. And vanity, as the sages tell us, is the most universal human trait. We all want to be liked. We all want to be appreciated. Flattery almost always hits its target because the target — you, me, everybody — rises up to meet it. We have no natural defense system against it. We don't doubt because we want to believe. As John Locke said, we all "find pleasure to be deceived." If it's a lie, it's a lie we don't care or want to question. "Lie to me," sings Sheryl Crow, "and I'll promise to believe."
---- Richard Stengel
I could easily think a few hundred ways how flattery can help anyone, here are some examples:
1) More Discounts
2) Get people to do favours for you
3) Avoid punishment
4) One night stand
I was having a chat with mr.X a few days ago.
mr.X suggest that if I were to go for a girl, use flattery. Use it alot, use it kao kao. Use it till bees fly over and swarm my whole body. No matter how fake it is, flatter only!

I was suspicious of mr.X's advice, until I came to know some unspoken rules about dating for men and women.
Male: Always use flattery done in a tasteful way.
Female: Always pretend to enjoy his flattery, even if it is tasteless and badly delivered.

Flattery and corny cheesy lines like this one,
"My buddies over there said that I wouldn't be able to start a conversation with the most beautiful girl in the bar. Wanna buy some drinks with some of their money? *pause* While we drink, I can look at your eyes for an eternity cause I've never seen such dark eyes with so much light in them. *pause* Speaking of eternity, Most people like to watch the Olympics, because they only happens once every 4 years, but I'd rather talk to you cause the chance of meeting someone so special only happens once in a lifetime."

For guys, whats your favourite flattery line?
For girls, how would you like people to flatter you?

Proud to be a Malaysian

This post is inspired by Quachee: what is it about Malaysia that makes you proud?
Summary: I'm proud to be a Malaysian because I'm living in a country with fantastic array of food, colourful culture and rich heritage.

I was born and raised in KL, the city center. All of life, I've been spending racing and competing with my peers. And its not uncommon for my parents tell tales of their 'business gossip', which share and 4D to buy. After all these years of listening to my parents tale, I've come to develop a slight feeling of resentment.

Then there were stress which came from school. Back then, I used to watch western movies and I was envious of their education system. It showcased students not having to fear speaking their mind and wearing what they want. Over here in Malaysia, whatever comes out from the teacher's mouth is the absolute truth!

And so, that resentment grew bit by bit as I grew up. That was when I was still in secondary school. Somehow along the way, that resentment slowly subside. Perhaps it was my school who taught us the meaning of patriotic and the spirit of muhibah. There were no hint of racism nor class division in front of my eyes. Well, the rich ones were slightly at an advantage as compared to the poorer ones, but generally speaking Everyone was treated equally.

By the time I graduated from secondary school and entered college life, the resentment came back. I was constantly annoyed by how fast city life was. We had to this and that within an impossible time frame. It was crazy! I was stressed, I was bogged down. I thought to myself, Msia sucks!

I was living in an environment where ah beng and ah lian lurks around everywhere, a place where flying rumors of bra-roberry, teen-kidnapping, and charismatic-conman are nothing to be surprised of. Yup, Msia sucks!

Somewhere in between, I was fortunate to be transfered to a foreign country, Australia for education. The moment I reached there, I thought to myself: "Ha! I'm free from the clutches yumcha-police, funny-politicians, and unmotivated gov msian workers."

While I was enjoying the benefits of being in Aus, the memories Malaysia was slowly slipping out of my head. It wasn't a few weeks later that i noticed something was amiss. I was deprived of msian food, msian jokes, and cheap msian stuff. That was when I found myself constantly drawn back to a vague image of my home country. I was miserably missing Malaysia.

The next 2 years was the worst time of my life! I was craving for authentic nasi lemak, teh o' ais limau, yumcha night life, and rainy days. Yes, even rainy days!

In Malaysia, we worry about robbery. In Sydney, we were worried about terrorism and racism. In Malaysia, we can always get food any time of the day. In Sydney, Everything is pretty much dead after 5pm. Also, I love the commercials from Malaysia, especially those Petronas commercial. [of course, Sydney has its own good trait too. But to choose between 2 countries, I rather live in Malaysia when I'm retired]

Besides, I think Malaysians are the among the rare people who treat criticism as a friendly joke! Try saying: "You Lousy-lar" to an angmoh, and you better get ready to protect your precious eyes.

Ironic as it sounds, I resented Malaysia while I was there. I started to appreciate Malaysia's beauty after having experience a foreign country. I guess what they say is true, people will never know they have until they lose it.

What used to be my resentment is now my pride. And I'm proud to be a Malaysian

[3POINT8 is still a young 22yrs old brat. And his most of his recent life revolved around the education world of school, college and university. I'll let you know if I'm still proud of my country after stepping into the working world.]

Are you proud of your country? What is it that infused you with pride?

Tag - Birthday Month Personality

Kimfei and Slowcatchupkuan tagged me on this. If you have the time, go visit his blog! If he finds you interesting enough, he is gonna hunt you down with another one of his tags! (that is assuming you have a blog)

If you believe in astrology, horoscope, star signs, you'll find this useful. It has been commonly said that a person's trait is likely to relate to the month that they are born in. Here is the twist, I'm born on the 13th month.

adverlets -> adbaaz

Summary: If you are with adverlets and you have the same problem with your blog being directed to adbaaz.com, remove the adverlets html script.

Full Story:
A few minutes ago, I visited my blog and i was directed to adbaaz.com
So, I googled around and found out that this problem has been around since september 2007. It was reported that this kind of problem is kinda irregular and freaking annoying! When someone mentioned that it could be some sort of a spyware or malware, I freaked out and scan my com with every antivirus there is known to mankind. I was so paranoid that i started downloading freeware that scans for spyware, adware and malware.

When I calmed down, I noticed that this kind of problem only happens to certain blog. Funny that the problem doesn't occur when i go into facebook, friendster or yahoo.

So then, I went into my own blog once more to check out my html script. I Found nothing odd and yet i got directed to the freaking annoying adbaaz website. It was then i noticed adverlets.com being written in that adbaaz website!

So, the natural thing to do is to visit adverlets.com to find out if any other people have the same problem. Surprised and shocked, it states that adverlets expired on 3rd jan 2008. WoW!

WoW! I removed my adverlets html script and everything went back to normal. My blog is now a-ok!!
Apparently the problem is with adverlets html script. It seems that the adverlets.com was not renew and caused all blogs with advertlets banners to be directed to adbaaz.

Feeling relief, it wasn't a bug or a spyware to caused my blog to go haywire. The culprit had been adverlets.com. WoW! Great job!

Now that everyone is feeling dissatisfied with adverlets, it'll be interesting to know what kind of method they'll use to redeem themselves.

If you are with adverlets and you have the same problem with your blog being directed to adbaaz.com, remove the adverlets html script.
If you are not with adverlets and you have the same problem, it could be a spyware in your com.

New Year Resolution in another POV

Forget about last year's resolution. That's old news. Heck, it didn't matter if its a success. We should all focus on a new year. Speaking of resolution, everyone seemed to be occupied making their own new year resolution.

I read a few blogs and found out that the common ones are:
1) Quit some bad habits (eg: smoking, gambling and drinking. I'm not sure about cheating though)
2) Lose weight
3) Spend more time with friends and family. Or get a bf/gf.
4) Get rich and some super cool gadget.
[Did i miss any major ones?]

Those are personal resolution that applies to an individual. Lets see, if i'm mother earth, I'll probably make something like:
1) More natural disaster [earth's getting crowded]
2) Produce more tree [so that I can grow faster can humans can chop me down]
3) Spin around the sun once more [Thats what mother earth does best]
4) Encourage animals to mate more [more chicken for humans]
[Guys guys, better take care of mother earth. You'll never know when she decides to launch an earthquake to a town near you]

Or if I'm some dead spirit out there, I'll make something like:
1) Scared the hell out of people [Run fatty! You need to exercise more]
2) Whisper to anyone [I'm gonna sharpen your senses to hearing]
3) Move things around [Lets see if i can stimulate your imagination]
4) Possess someone [I'm alive once more!!!]
[If you are freaking scared of ghosts and spirits, dun watch so many ghost stories. You are just reinforcing the belief that they do exist]

If you can make a new year resolution on behalf for someone, what would it be and who it be?
